Bioenergy site features GSHPs !
Ground source heat pumps were hailed as the up and coming renewable technology last week at the Energy Now expo in Worcestershire, UK, writes The Bioenergy Site Editor, Gemma Hyland.As the cost of energy and the impact of fossil fuels on the world's climate continue to rise, adopting renewable sources of energy allows farmers and landowners to reduce their carbon footprint, offset costs and add aditional income to their business.
The Energy Now expo, held last week, showcased the very best options available to farmers and landowners when considering a renewable energy installation.
Solar, wind energy and anaerobic digestion were all in discussion at various conferences, workshops and question and answer sessions throughout the two day expo.
However ground source heat pumps - often one of the lesser discussed renewable options - had great interest this year. More here......
